Piñata making is an art form that is taken very seriously in the Latin Culture. Entire communities depend on it to make a living, taking advantage of popular culture, local and world trends. Often it is a fun way of dealing with our lifes.

A piñata is a container often made of papier-mâché, pottery, or cloth; it is decorated, and filled with small toys or candy, or both, and then broken as part of a ceremony or celebration.

 I grew up with amazing piñatas, every year for my birthday, so to reminisce, here’s a little short film about a Mexican piñata community…Enjoy
