My little sister and fellow artist has launched her company SAY HOLA, and is having a solo art show called “Chiromancy” at the MSG gallery next week. She will be showcasing new works from 27th of November until the 4th of December.

Make sure to come along to the opening night on Thursday the 27th of November at The MSG Gallery (126 Bay Street Brighton) from 6.3 till 8.3 pm. Don’t miss out on some craaaazzyy art for your space or buy one of the infamous Carlos Cactus:)

About Say Hola:

SAY HOLA is a collection of art and design by a fresh and emerging Melbourne based artist, Maria Flores.

Maria is curious about colour and patterns merged with nature and culture. Her love for geometric shapes, patterns and quirky typography is a common trend in her work, coming together with a beautiful unity of and explosion of colour and serious monochrome.

Her home studio is full of cacti, love and giggles from her two chicas who are a constructive part of her work, especially of CARLOS CACTUS, which grew from their interest in puzzles, having fun making things and spending time in the garden.

The hand prints are an important part of Maria's artistic journey.  You can feel a strong connection to every piece, which are inspired by the craft of palm reading and the intention of the Hand of Fatima.  Every hand is different in pattern to demonstrate that we all have our own path to discover.
