Studio Equator Brings an Old St Kilda Icon Back to Life

Studio Equator have been busy bringing an Old St Kilda icon back to life, as the transformation of the Old Pelican into our new venue Bambi.

Our client from the popular Elwood Combi Café appointed Studio Equator to create an amazing interior experience in line with Combi’s Ethos and our venue’s unique location within St Kilda’s Bar & Restaurant Precinct. Bambi is about allowing yourself the freedom to chill and take a break in a space that remains you more a luxury tropical venue, nestled in Melbourne’s urban bay.

Currently under construction, Bambi St Kilda will be the second venue for the Combi Group offering a great healthy eating menu, whilst offering a curated cocktails list and specially sourced spirits which perfectly balance the sexy and natural interiors, paying homage to the old Pelican Fame and Glory. 

Together with the newest venues like the recently upgraded The Prince Public, Prince of Wales, The Espy, Lady of St Kilda and the Village Belle Hotel, Bambi will ensure that St Kilda is back on the map and in our places to party and enjoy in the coming times…
