Marigold Thai Restaurant Williamstown is now under construction

Melbourne’s Beautiful Waterfront Suburb of Williamstown is the perfect backdrop for one of Studio Equator’s latest restaurant designs: Marigold Thai (now under construction). The modest, yet beautiful Interior pays homage to the existing bluestone and brick structural walls, at the same time a touch of authenticity is added to emphasize the Thai offering. Whilst designing it we wanted to have a sense of adventure and magic (depicted in our ceiling installation which our abstract take-on a Thai Wind Chime), which completes our contemporary space.

Marigold is one of Thailand’s national flower and our visual identity takes a strong influence by the colours and unique edge gradient, which makes such flowers so unique and graphically exciting.

Offering authentic Thai food, Marigold is destined to become a staple part of Williamstown waterfront hospitality precinct and we cannot wait to taste the food…
